Reaches her first professional finals on the ITF circuit, building her game outside the traditional junior pathway.
2021
Makes her WTA Tour main draw debut in Charleston and wins her first tour match. At the US Open she serves 129 mph, tying the fastest serve by a woman ever recorded at the tournament.
2022
Breakthrough run in Ostrava: beats former world No. 1 Karolina Pliskova and world No. 7 Maria Sakkari for her first top 10 win, then takes her maiden WTA doubles title at the same event. Finishes the year with back to back WTA 125 titles in Andorra and Angers.
2023
Wins her first WTA singles title in Lyon, beating world No. 5 Caroline Garcia in the final. Climbs to career highs of No. 40 in singles and No. 27 in doubles, and wins the WTA 1000 doubles title in Cincinnati with Taylor Townsend.
2024
Reaches the third round of a Grand Slam for the first time at the Australian Open, defeating Leylah Fernandez before falling to Coco Gauff. Adds three more WTA 125 titles, including a win over Belinda Bencic in the Angers final.
2025
Opens the season with a semifinal run in Auckland, beating Amanda Anisimova before falling to Naomi Osaka. In Monterrey she upsets top seed Emma Navarro on the way to her first WTA 500 semifinal.
2026
A season of statement wins: qualifies in Doha and takes out No. 15 seed Diana Shnaider, beats Maria Sakkari on the way to the Miami third round, defeats 24th seed Leylah Fernandez at Roland Garros and reaches the Ostrava quarterfinals, working with coach Roger Smith.
